Making a reel
Add a wedding, upload the footage, pick a song and a vibe. Coda looks through everything you shot, chooses the moments, and cuts them to the beat.
Analysing footage and rendering take a few minutes. You can close the app while it works — uploads and renders keep going, and the reel is waiting when you come back.
If a reel is taking much longer than usual, or stops with an error, email us with the couple's names and we will look at that specific render.
Changing the cut
Open a reel and shape it: pin a shot to a beat, hold a moment longer, clear a beat you do not want, or reorder. Save and make a new version.
Editing is unlimited. Only making the film uses your plan, so you can keep refining a cut without spending anything extra.
Each new version is its own film — the previous one stays until you replace it.
Getting the film out
Open the finished reel and use save or share. Saving writes the video to your device; sharing hands it to whichever app you choose.
Reels are vertical, sized for social, and under two minutes.
Music
You bring your own song — Coda has no music library. That is deliberate: it keeps you in control of what you are licensed to use, rather than us choosing on your behalf.
Coda finds the beat in whatever you give it and cuts to that.
Plans, credits and refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple. Coda never sees your card.
To change or cancel a subscription, open your Apple account settings — Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period ends.
Refunds are requested through Apple, not through us. If something went wrong on our side, email us anyway and we will help.
Your account and data
You can delete your account from inside the app: Settings, then Delete account. Coda shows you exactly what will be removed before you confirm. Deletion is permanent and removes your weddings, your uploaded footage and your finished films.
Raw footage is removed automatically after a period of inactivity; finished films are kept while your account is open. The privacy policy has the detail.
Still stuck
Email hello@editcoda.com. Include the couple's names, the wedding date, and what you expected to happen. Screenshots help.
